The World Prayer Center is alive and well. It's already been six years since the prayer center was dedicated in September of 1998. More prayer, and more worship, in more ways--- is happening in the building than ever before. Did you know that there are currently 200 plus hours of prayer and worship, with more hours being added all of the time? The World Prayer Center is home to over 117 different groups offering prayer opportunities through a variety of expressions.

• Sons of thunder, and Iron Sharpens Iron --- a couple of our Men's prayer groups
• Prayer Shields for NLC ministries, or for families are a few of our intercessory prayer groups
• Missions-focused prayer group for global impact for Iraq, Ireland, or Azerbaijan
• Or be a part of our French worship hour, Louange Et Adoration

Perhaps you would like to submit an application to Adam Taylor, director of the World Prayer Center to facilitate a prayer, praise or worship time. The staff of WPC is committed to nurture the vision and mission of the World Prayer Center by providing a dedicated environment for 24-hour praise, prayer, and worship for New Life Church, the Colorado Springs community, and the world.

Since the beginning of the year, 1677 guests of The World Prayer Center have "checked in" to stay overnight, and for extended visits in our guest suites and prayer closets. And still more take advantage of our meeting spaces for seminars and special events. We provide gracious and well-appointed rooms and suites to accommodate times of dedicated prayer and fasting. The World Prayer Team, housed in the World Prayer Center serves as a practical and inspiration "online" tool. By logging on to www.worldprayerteam.org you may submit public or confidential prayer requests, track prayer responses and view the current focus for global prayer efforts. Have you signed on lately?

The 24/7 Leadership Academy, also resident in the WPC, allowing interns to frequently serve the WPT Call Center responding to phone requests for prayer. This partnership allows them to enhance their effectiveness in local church ministry.

Night Watchmen serve the mission of the WPC by diligently providing a spiritual and protective covering for the guests, staff and facilities. Over 60 men faithfully volunteer to watch and pray during the late night and early morning hours.
